About the only good thing I can say about this unit is the price is OK. Sorry, but it just isn't a very good dehydrator. You need to rotate the trays constantly as the heat is uneven. Plus, some units get one side so hot that the trays start to melt, yes, I said Melt! Plus, it takes a long time to get the job done. But that part is probably to be expected considering the price. My recommendation is you choose some other brand and save yourself some frustration and headaches. The Nesco FD-75PR 700-Watt Food Dehydrator would be a much better unit for only a few bucks more. Check it out before buying this model.
