Versatile with the capability to bake 1 pound and 1.5 pound loaves of bread, plus a jam setting, and a "raisin beep" to signal when to add your fresh fruit and/or other ingredients that you might want to add during the 2nd kneading. Can be set to have fresh bread in the morning upon waking with the 13 hour delay. One drawback is the recipes included with the unit. You would do better by getting a good bread making recipe book and using those recipes. Overall, this is a good machine for a newbie and for the experienced bread maker.
